Greg Evans

Greg Evans, K.C., the founding member of our firm, is Special Counsel at Evans Pollock Schofield Family Law Corporation, where he continues to share the benefit of his many years of experience in family law. While he’s stepped back from day-to-day practice and is no longer taking on clients or providing direct legal services, he remains an important part of the firm. In this role, Greg offers guidance, perspective, and mentorship to the lawyers at the firm, helping to support their work and the clients they serve.

Greg is a founding member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba, where he has served as chair and member of its management committee and is currently one of its Trainers. 

From 2006 to 2019, Greg taught Clinical Family Law at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law, and continued to teach as a frequent guest speaker thereafter.  

Other pursuits

Greg was an American Sign Language interpreter and spoken English interpreter and interpreter educator. He has served the deaf community nationally and internationally for more than three decades.

As part of his commitment to improving wellness and mental health in the legal profession, Greg serves as the co-chair of Law(yer) Strong, a peer support program founded to enhance the immediate and long-term well-being of the legal community

Greg expresses his creative side as a musician and band member of Inheritors.
